I know this will not always be, but I want to remember this years down the road. Every morning Adam will come to my bedside to ask if it is morning yet. If it is after 6:00 I consider that morning and tell him he can get up, otherwise it is not morning and he must go back to bed.
The other night, he got up between 12:30 and 1:00 and used the bathroom. He promptly came to my bedside and asked if it was morning. I told it was not, so he went to bed. About 10 minutes later I thought I should go check on him, see if he was covered, etc. He was already sound asleep. I find it interesting that he will ask this question, even though it is apparent that he is not ready to get up!
