Fall cookies

Today, I was going over the school lunch menu with Adam. One day they are having sugar cookies, but Adam did not like the rest of the meal. So, he said he wanted MY sugar cookies. Well, you can't turn a child down when they know your cookies are better than the schools. I mixed up the dough and a little later, Adam and I were well are on our way to having cookies. I decided that it is close enough to fall that we could do small leaves.

Adam enjoyed cutting the cookies out. He did a really good job! Then he got to sprinkle the cookies.

This is a red maple leaf cookie. We did several of these. We are excited about our Canadian visitors next month. We are all talking about this quiet a lot. So, we had to do some red maples!

  1. What a great way to spend special time with the boys. Just knowing he helped make those cookies will make them even taste better. Mamaw Betty
