Aesops Adventures

School had not been in session very long when there started to be talk of the fall drama.  Adam was very interested.  He studies his poem, and practiced his song--he was ready to try out!  I thought he did a great job at his audition.  He landed the part of Narrator 2 in the play The Ant and The Grasshopper then he added to his time on stage by being the finishing flag man for The Tortoise and The Hare.

We worked on memorizing the lines for weeks, then it was decided that the narrators had to speak so much that they would just let them have their lines with them.

They had the play about a week ago.  The kids did a great job!

In addition to the parts he had on the stage, he also participated in choir when he was not on stage.

Adam singing one of the chorus songs.

Acting as narrator 2.  Studying his lines before it is time to speak!

We only got video of him as the flagman, but he did a great job.

I am so impressed how Adam has come to a new school and jumped in with both feet.  I was surprised when he said he wanted to do the play, but was supportive the whole time.  He showed me what a great job he could do.  Adam, I am so proud of you!!
