Picnic

Monday we had a picnic with the teachers and staff at the school where Mike teaches (and the boys attend)

The picnic was at a local park, it was nice to have a place for the boys (and other children) to play while we finished eating, or we were talking with some of the others there.

The boys had finished eating and went to play. After a little, Adam came and asked if we would like to try a new seat. Mike said he would go see what Adam was talking about and he came back with this picture.

Adam found an octagonal table. He wanted us to sit there, but we really enjoyed sitting with the other adults. I think he was fine after Mike went and saw what he was talking about.

One of the new teachers was there. Her husband brought croquet to play. Mike heard this and was searching Tim out to play a good game of croquet. Little did Tim know how competitive Mike is about croquet. He knows now!

Mike started teaching the boys how to play. They enjoyed that!

It was a really fun, relaxing evening. Nice to have a time like that to reconnect with the teachers at school.
