About 2 weeks ago I took the boys to the dentist. As I was talking to the Dentist a little after she looked at the boys, she commented that she was surprised at how many baby teeth Austin still had. I told her that he was a very late teether as a baby, and it must have carried over into his adult teeth. (Although I have no control over how quickly they loose their teeth, I am happy my boys are loosing them slowly. Then my hope is that by the time they get their adult teeth, they will know how to care for them better.)
Shortly after the appointment with the dentist, Austin showed me that he had a loose tooth. I nodded and agreed that it was loose. Earlier this week he showed it to me again, and the tooth was 1/2 way out!! I encouraged him to just get that tooth out, but he wasn't ready. Okay, I figured it would come out at some point whether he is ready or not! Last night he came to me with the tooth in hand.
I guess it just took some time. I'm not sure if he pulled it, or if it just fell out, or what the story is. All I know is that he has one less baby tooth in his mouth.
